Fostering the Efforts to Improve Gynecology and Obstetrics Care

A gynecologist may be a doctor who focuses on the health of the feminine organs. A gynecologist should be certified and registered with knowledgeable body, like the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG). A gynecologist treats patients with female reproductive organs, whether or not they identify as women. An obstetrician may be a quite gynecologist who focuses on pregnancy and childbirth.
Obstetrics and gynecology (American English) is that the medicine that encompasses the 2 subspecialties of obstetrics (covering pregnancy, childbirth, and therefore the postpartum period) and gynecology (covering the health of the female genital system – vagina, uterus, ovaries, and breasts).
