Dr. Golnoush Golshirazi Studied natural sciences and specialised in genetics from University of Cambridge and completed my project at the Gurdon Institute on the genetics of embryo development. Completed my PhD at Royal Holloway working on gene therapy for neuromuscular disease. My project was focused on the development of anti-fibrotic antisense based drugs to tackle fibrotic replacement of muscle in DMD patients.
Have work experience in research, lab work, teaching, and management of care in orphanages in developing countries.Have been part of leadership and marketing programs. Outgoing person, excellent in communication and group work.
I’m very much interested in products and service development for the integration of scientific, health related knowledge and the healthcare system. As a scientist at this day and age I believe we need to be a bridge between the general public and the science that can boost the health of today’s society and the generations to come.
