Biography:

Has completed her PhD in 2015 for the development of biocompatible composite materials based on nanostructured titanium nickelide. She is the senior Researcher, Deputy Head of the Laboratory of Physico-Chemical Fundamentals of Nonferrous and Rare Metals Metallurgy of the Russian Academy of Sciences Baikov Institute of Metallurgy and Material Sciences. Published more than 60 papers in journals, monographs or chapters of monographs and obtained Russian patents. A course of lectures on “Nanomaterials and Nanotechnologies” has been developed for graduate students of IMET RAS. Head and performer of more than 15 research grants of the Russian Federation.

The work is aimed at the development of materials for the production of low-invasive medical implants "stent" and "kava-filter" of self-expanding design and the devices themselves, intended for the treatment of cancer and injuries of the cardiovascular, respiratory, excretory and digestive systems, with an improved set of performance characteristics . Materials under development include nanostructured titanium-based shape memory alloys (TiNi, TiNbTa, TiNbTaZr, etc.) and composite materials with a complex multi-level structure, including both metal and polymer components.

Research Interest
