Biography:  Salam Azad, a freelance Writer and also president of ‘Soheli Mirza Cancer Foundation’.He was born on July 10, 1964, at Damla of Bikrampur, Bangladesh. He had his education at the Sir J.C. Bose Institution, Bikrampur, Munshigonj,Gaibandha Government College, Gaibandha and Dhaka University. He had been very courageously highlighting the causes and especially sufferings and atrocities on the Religious and Indigenous Minorities. Apart from publishing books and articles he had been representing and focusing on their rights and deprivations in the national and international seminars and platforms for sharing views. He presented paper on Religious and Indigenous Minorities in the sessions in Kolkata, India, June 1998, in Amman, Jordan, November 1999, in Thimpu, Bhutan, December 2000, in Katmandu, Nepal, June 1994, January 2001, in Joygjakarta, Indonesia, May 2002, in Geneva, Switzerland July 2002, May 2003, July 2003, 2004, in Colombo, Sri Lanka, October 2003, in Stockholm 2011, in Helsinki 2011, and in Paris 2011. He also visited several times New Delhi, India. Salam Azad got intimation from Bangladesh government as a Deputy High Commissioner in Kolkata.
