Biography:
Israeli paediatric endocrinologist Zvi Laron was born on February 6, 1927 (Hebrew: ). Laron, an emeritus professor at Tel Aviv University and a native of CernÄuÅ£i, Romania, was born. [1] He first described the form of dwarfism afterwards known as Laron syndrome in 1966. His work paved the foundation for the successful treatment of numerous growth hormone problems. He was the pioneer in developing a comprehensive approach to treating juvenile diabetes.
